It rare that I eat beef, but last week when I was
sick I got a sudden craving for chilli con carne and beef curry. So, I bought
some beef and today I set about some major cooking. A fried chicken curry too.
Enough for six meals in all.
Cooking makes me feel relaxed and I tend to drift off into my own little world.
I'm lucky that I have a great view from my kitchen too. So there's always something
to look at.
The yellow thing on the side of that building is a giant poster for the Commonwealth
Games, which are being held in Manchester next summer. There's a countdown clock
too. I noticed the BBC has recently put up a countdown clock on its building too.
Think of all those lovely Commonwealth athletes! Mmmmm...
