Back in Manchester and fun to see webmistress
Miss Noodle and other friends again.
Went for a beer with my Pakistani student friend 'S'. He looked cool in a yellow
t-shirt and blue shorts and has had his hair cut very short. He usually calls
me a 'skinhead bastard' (affectionately of course) and now I can say the same
back :-)
He has asked me if I'd like to go across Europe with him later in the summer.
I doubt it'll happen, what with my finances currently low and his tendency to
get involved with the latest boy and disappear for a while! But I think he'll
definitely come up and stay for a while at my house up north.
I know I have said this before, but it's just marvellous to get quality fruit
and veg again, after the often-poor stuff in the village where I was. I just love
the city sometimes :-)
